Student life does not consist only of the binary code of ones and nullītēm, it helps to diversify the DITF Student Government.

Its main tasks are to take care of the students: to hear the heartache and help solve it, to improve students 'well-being of the faculty, to develop cultural, sports, educational activities have on students' interests in the shield and defender.

DITF Students' Council members representing the students in various institutions of RTU: DITF DITF City Council, the Scholarship division committee,
RTU Student Parliament, the RTU Senate, the Academic Assembly.

DITF SP main directions:

Study direction - develop proposals to improve the quality of the study, organized activities related to the IT sector or improving learning.

Financial Direction - plans to self-government budget and the financial records, attracting sponsors.

Cultural activity - contributes to the spread of the creative spirit by organizing different kind of cultural events.

Sports Action - the athletes selected RTU Rector's Cup, the FSB Cup, organized by a variety of sporting events.

PR activity - communication with the decision for students, the image of DITF, PR activities, website content maintenance.

Membership management - internal motivation events, new member recruitment and intake, maintenance of internal documentation.
